Captain America is a superhero who appears in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by cartoonists Joe Simon and Jack Kirby and also this character was first appeared in Captain America Comics #1 (March 1941) from Timely Comics, a forerunner of Marvel Comics. Captain America was created as a patriotic supersoldier who regularly fought the Axis powers of World War II and was Timely Comics’ most popular character during the wartime period. Following the war, the popularity of superheroes declined, and the Captain America comic book was discontinued in 1950, with a brief revival in 1953. Captain America has remained in print since Marvel Comics resurrected the character in 1964.
